This worked first try for me after spending hours trying to fight the other programs everyone else listed here and on other sources. From there, USB Overdrive will automatically highlight and select the button you are clicking, meaning all you have to do is use the options on the right to set the key stroke you want to associate with that button. When I connected my remote to my Mac, it came up as a keyboard instead of a remote or controller for some reason, which meant none of the other methods would work (or I just couldn't figure it out ).īut anyways, I downloaded USB Overdrive, set the remote to the key mode with the switch on the left side, and pressed a button to get USB Overdrive to automatically switch to programming the correct device. TLDR: Use USB Overdrive to reprogram this for Mac.įor anyone who can't get the other methods of reprograming this to work, USB Overdrive works really well. Also make sure it switch is on KEY instead of GME on the left side of the controller.
